Damhnait Doyle

Damhnait Doyle is a singer-songwriter and founding member of the Heartbroken. She began her relationship with Make Music Matter by contributing vocals to the original Song for Africa CD single and went to travel to both Kenya and Rwanda in order to participate in both documentaries. Check out her amazing track, Komera, on the Rwanda: Rises Up! album.

Sarah Slean

Sarah Slean’s album, “The Baroness,” debuted at #1 on iTunes in 2008, and in 2009 she traveled to Rwanda to take part in the Rwanda: Rises Up! documentary and album. Her contributing song, “Not for Sale,” is a standout track on the Rwanda: Rises Up! album.

Crash Parallel

Tim Edwards of Crash Parallel traveled to Rwanda to take part in the Rwanda: Rises Up! documentary and album. The catchy mid-tempo, “Beautiful,” was the lead off single. Tim continues to advocate for Make Music Matter by participating in fundraising events.
